With a grand-heritage style renovation recently revealed, the Leichhardt establishment has restored much of its original grandeur.

Norton Street’s The Royal has recently opened its doors after undergoing significant remodelling and restoration, and it looks bloody great.

The 60-seater grand heritage-style wraparound balcony overlooking Norton Street revisits much of its original 1930s Victorian grandeur, while the downstairs bar has been expanded with an impressive zinc-top bar a feature. With upgraded all-weather facilities and an impressive view of Norton Street, it’s an impressive upgrade for Norton Street’s regular haunt.

With a refreshed dining menu for its upstairs dining area, along with the addition of lift-access, the mainstay pub refurbishments arrive just in time for its 130th birthday, coinciding with the annual Norton Street Fiesta on Sunday October 30.
