Ryan Gosling arrived in Australia with his family today, ahead of filming his new movie ‘The Fall Guy’ with Emily Blunt.

Gosling, his wife Eva Mendes and their young kids were escorted through Sydney airport by a bodyguard, after disembarking their long-haul flight from America. Gosling donned sunnies and a cap in an attempt to keep a low profile, however, clued-on paps managed to capture pictures of him.

The ‘La La Land’ actor is expected to stay in Australia until the end of the year to film ‘The Fall Guy’, which will mostly be shot at Fox Studios in Sydney’s Moore Park.

Gosling only wrapped filming of the ‘Barbie’ movie, in which he stars as Ken opposite Aussie star Margot Robbie. Earlier this week Robbie called fan photos of her and Gosling filming a scene for the film “the most humiliating moment’ of her life.

In June, photos went viral showing the two A-listers wearing matching neon rollerskating outfits while filming scenes for Barbie. During a promotional appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon Robbie discussed the iconic photos.

“I can’t tell you how mortified we were, by the way,” Robbie said of the photos. “We look like we’re, like, laughing, having fun, but dying on the inside.”

She added, ‘I was like, this is the most humiliating moment of my life. Didn’t realise it was going to go everywhere.”

Margot explained that the majority of the Barbie scenes were filmed in private areas, so pap shots couldn’t leak.

“I knew that we had some exteriors to shoot in L.A. I knew, OK, once you’re doing exteriors, you’re gonna get papped. There’s probably going to be a little crowd of people who are going to take notice because, you know, the fluoro,” she said. “We stand out a little in the outfits.”

“And, so I knew there would be a little bit of attention, and probably some photos would get out there, but not like it did. It was, like, mad. It was like hundreds of people watching [while we filmed the scenes].”

The ‘Barbie’ movie which, of course, stars Robbie as the titular character, will be released on July 21, 2023. Along with Gosling as Ken the film’s cast includes Kate McKinnon, Emma Mackey, Alexandra Shipp, America Ferrera, Simu Liu, Hari Nef and Will Ferrell.
