Ryan Reynolds has partnered with Mint Mobile to launch a new streaming service. Just one movie, Foolproof, is listed on the site.

The justification is simple. “Every tech company needs a streaming service.” It’s also yet another streaming service with the ‘Plus’ suffix added at the end.
In a flooded market filled with Disney Plus, Apple TV Plus, Netflix, Stan and Amazon Prime, the Deadpool star has a point. We have so many sites to choose from, and the menu structure and categories for browsing is confusing at best.
That, and we had so many movies we were looking forward seeing in cinemas that have gone straight to VOD at an inflated rate. Looking straight at you, Mulan.
Surely the Mint Mobile Plus site would direct to an April Fool’s style of gag. If you visit the site it has a legitimate domain so far.

The user interface looks devilishly similar to Disney Plus. As I write this, Ryan Reynolds has already scheduled time for the streaming platform to be shut down.
Some Twitter users were genuinely disappointed that there was only one offering. As tempting as “bingeing over 80 minutes of Ryan Reynolds in 2003 DVD quality,” sounds, others were not so convinced.

Why didn’t Ryan Reynolds call it Amazon Ryan? Or Dis-Rey Plus? He’s not the only troll around here.
