ICYMI, Sam Frost deactivated her Instagram account earlier this month after receiving backlash for posting an IGTV video in which she admitted she wasn’t vaccinated.
Last night, Frost reactivated her account and posted a message to her stories thanking those who supported her “through the storm”. The story has since been deleted.
“Thank you for the enormous amount of support over the past few weeks. I received thousands and thousands of beautiful messages & emails. I appreciate it, more than you’ll ever know”, she wrote in a text slide.
“Incredibly grateful for my friends, family & work colleagues who held my hand through the storm, and loved me unconditionally,” she added.
“Kindness always wins.
“With all of my heart, thank you xxx”

Though the story was deleted, Frost did post a photo of herself to her grid.
“Freshhh,” she captioned the picture of herself and a Home & Away makeup artist.
The post was quickly flooded with positive comments. Considering the backlash Frost received on her last post (pre-deactivation) it seems a little suss that there currently isn’t a single negative comment on the photo.
“Thank you for being honest! So inspiring and refreshing to see someone have the courage to stand up for their beliefs! Also fyi we are now new Home and Away fans again after a 10-year break haha! Keep up the awesome work!” Said one of the many comments praising the actress.
“Don’t back down Sam. Integrity is everything. Don’t let anyone take your voice. You’ve got this x,” read another.
In early October Frost posted a video on Insta saying that she wouldn’t get the COVID-19 vaccination, sparking furor on the app.
“I was really hesitant about doing a video or even speaking up about this sort of thing, but I feel like it’s getting to a point now in the world where there’s a lot of segregation, a lot of harsh judgment, and its taking its toll on my mental health,” Frost said.
“There are a lot of different reasons people aren’t getting vaccinated – and it might be because of their medical history, the concerns they might have, they might have family history, it might be religious reasons, whatever.
“I want to tell those people that feel like they’re getting separated from society – well, I’m not vaccinated, and there’s a reason why I’m not, I’ve spoken to my doctor and my psychologist about it, and I’m going to keep it private.”
The video was almost instantly met with backlash, with thousands of people calling Frost selfish for not getting the vaccine. It’s since been revealed that it’s extremely rare to have a medical reason that deems you ineligible for the vaccine. Just hours after she posted the IGTV video, Frost deleted her account. The video no longer appears on her page.
