As many celebrities have taken to social media to bid their heartbreaking, emotional farewells to the late Willie Garson, there has been one who has kept her silence: Sarah Jessica Parker.

So many of the Sex and the City cast members including Cynthia Nixon, Kristin Davis, as well as original author, Candace Bushnell have honoured Garson with their words.

Each has brought about a rollercoaster of emotions, from smiles, to joy, to tears and then more tears.

Bushnell wrote, “Rest in Peace #WillieGarson 💔 Stanford Blatch is so beloved to me and Willie brought him to life so beautifully. What a gift to us all.”

Davis wrote, “I am thankful for all of the time we had and grateful that so much of your bright light is on film forever.
Maybe we can do our pod cast the next time around ? We love you forever xoxo”

Parker and Garson were on-set best friends and their Carrie and Stanny will be iconic forever. So it’s really not hard to believe that their relationship translated to real life to, just in a different dynamic.

At this stage it’s fair to say that many have been patiently waiting for Parker to deliver her words for Garson, however by the same token, it only makes sense that this devastating loss has hit Parker one of the hardest, if not the most.

The Carrie Bradshaw actress is yet to share a tribute, however she has shared a very short and heartbreaking comment on Mr Big actor, Chris Noth’s post.

And it’s perhaps why she is yet to share her own. Parker wrote, “Thank you dearest Chris. I’m not ready yet. Xxx”

Rest in peace, Willie Garson.
