Elko Fields bring their Brisbane scuzz to Frankie’s Pizza in November.
Elko Fields, made up of Kella Vee on vocals and guitar and Tomas Stephenson on drums and vocals, have brought their riff-heavy and distorted sounds to the forefront of the live music scene in Brisbane, with their ‘cut the bullshit’ style.
After a number of garage demos, they won a fan in the form of Powderfinger’s Ian Haug and since then the band have collaborated with production heavy-hitters such as Yanto Browning and Nick DiDia to release Elko Fields, their titular EP, featuring lead single ‘Cough It Up’.
The duo usually practise their sets in the dark and will be well suited to the stick dive-bar hot mess that is Frankie’s Pizza.
Get Scuzzy at Frankie’s Pizza on Wednesday November 16.
