Selling Sunset fan favourite Maya Vander is reportedly leaving The Oppenheim Group and won’t be returning for season six of the hit show.
TMZ have reported that the popular real estate agent recently switched her real estate license to be a member of the Compass real estate firm in Miami – a rival broker to The Oppenheim Group.
Fans of the show will know that Maya has moved to Miami with his family, and pops back to LA periodically to film the show and work for The Oppenheim Group.
The publication has reported that their sources say Maya will be permanently based in Miami and “will not return to the Netflix reality series because she’s focused on raising her family and continuing to build her real estate business in Miami.”
The news of Maya’s departure comes just a day after she announced the devastating news of a miscarriage to her followers on Instagram.
“I had a very crazy week. Miscarriage after 10 weeks…following my stillbirth..😢” She wrote on her Instagram story.
“But my kids and my husband are absolutely my blessing and I am so lucky to be their mother!!” added Maya. “They bring joy and happiness to my life!! Hug and love the people you care about. Don’t take things for granted!🙏🏻”

The 40-year-old shares son Aiden, 3, and daughter Elle, 2, with husband David Miller. In December 2021 the reality star revealed that she had her son Mason stillborn at 38 weeks old.
At the time, Vander posted a photo of an empty hospital bassinet on Instagram, and captioned the photo, “Yesterday was the hardest day of my life. I had a still birth at 38 weeks. I always heard of it but never imagined I’ll be part of the statistics. Instead of delivering a baby, I get to go home with a memory box… I do not wish this on anyone. What was a regular weekly checkup turned into a nightmare that I never imagine will happen to me. Given I share my pregnancies in the show I knew I’ll have to post about this and avoid the ‘when is your due date’ question. You will always be in our heart baby Mason 💔💙.”
