The Set List have announced the locations and dates of touring musical actsI Know Leopard, Coin BanksandMontaigne.
In what seems like an obvious win/win, The Set List is a new initiative that gets emerging musical talent touring regional Australia. The project has been enabled by theAustralia Council’s Playing Australia program, bringing sweet sounds to venues in places as far flung asMackay, Hobart and Geraldton.
The Set List has made it financially viable for bands likeI Know Leopard, Coin BanksandMontaigne to tour regionally, bringing music to places that don’t normally get a look in. The project is targeted at 16-22 year olds, giving young people the chance not just to access music but to engage with the arts in a number of contests and support roles.
