If you’re going to visit Australia for the first time in decades like Shaquille O’Neal just did, you may as well make the most of it by flirting outrageously with a breakfast radio icon.
The NBA legend appeared on The Kyle and Jackie O Show this morning, and things got so saucy between the former basketball player and Jackie that Kyle was left “uncomfortable.”
“Is that the lovely Jackie O? I don’t want to talk to you Kyle. I only want to talk to Jackie O,” Shaq cheekily said at the beginning of the chat. “I got here today, but I wanted to come and see the lovely, talented, gorgeous Jackie O.”
That clearly tickled Jackie, with the host responding, “I love you. Oh my god. Favourite guest ever.” Shaq wasn’t done there, insisting that “it’s going to be the Shaq and Jackie O Show” once he moved to Sydney.
Kyle also came in for some tongue-in-cheek rough treatment from Shaq. “When I come to the studio I’m going to hug Jackie O and just push you out of your seat. You got that tough guy,” he said. “I’m not even looking at you Kyle, I’m looking at Jackie O.”
When Kyle noted that Shaw was only looking at Jackie, and that it was “quite uncomfortable,” she just laughed the whole thing off. “I’m not. I’m loving this,” she happily declared.
Shaq isn’t visiting Australia just for a holiday. The LA Lakers legend is holding a special speaking event at Melbourne’s Margaret Court Arena on Thursday night, with the entire thing being show live on Kayo and Foxtel’s Main Event (order here).
Before then, he’s set to perform an exclusive DJ set at the city’s 170 Russell tonight as his musical alter ego DJ Diesel, for what’s sure to be an unforgettable club experience.
