If you’ve been following what’s been happening with live venues in Sydney lately, you might’ve seen the news that the iconic Landsdowne Hotel reopened this week. The legendary venue reopened on Thursday night with a star-studded performance from a supergroup featuring members of The Preatures, Sticky Fingers, and The Delta Riggs, but now news has surfaced that there’s going to be a surprise performance this evening from none other than Byron Bay’s Skegss.

Skegss are currently in the middle of their Holiday Food tour, and have just completed a run of three sold out shows at The Oxford Art Factory. In fact, their show on Friday night even featured a surprise DJ performance by none other than world-famous artist Shephard Fairey, best known as the bloke behind those Barrack Obama ‘Hope’ posters.

Taking to Facebook, Skegss have announced a lineup that’ll make any music fan start drooling with anticipation. Kicking off festivities at 8pm tonight will be Israeli Girls, followed by Baxter, and Skegss’ new best mates Pist Idiots. The lineup continues to get better from there with Ruby Fields playing a set right before Skegss take the stage to deliver what will undoubtedly be one of the craziest performances on their tour.

Doors open at 7pm tonight, so be sure to get in early to witness what will surely be one of the hottest tickets in Sydney tonight, and one of the best ways to welcome back The Landsdowne Hotel as the iconic live music venue that it is.
