MAFS’ Jesse blows up live on air after host blames him for Claire’s affair

MAFS’ Jesse has blown up at Today host David Campbell after he asked the reality star where his “responsibility” lies in Claire’s affair with Adam.
At the beginning of the series, a handful of the MAFS stars went out for a night on the town, and Jesse grew suspicious that something was going on between his ‘bride’ Claire and fellow groom Adam. At a commitment ceremony another bride Lyndall told the group that she heard Adam and Claire discussing a kiss, however, both parties denied anything ever happened.
Then, in Monday’s episode, Claire admitted to another bride that she did actually kiss Adam on that fateful night, and then came clean to Jesse.
Jesse was understandingly upset, as was Adam’s partner Janelle, and the two participants came together to support each other.
And, Jesse didn’t respond well when the TV host lumped some of the blame from the affair on him.
“Where do you think your responsibility lies in [the affair]?” David Campbell asked in the interview.
Jesse responded: “My responsibility lies… sorry, what was that question? Where does my responsibility lie when my wife kisses another dude?'”

David Campbell doubled down and pointed out a list of ‘icks’ that Jesse had spoken about in previous episodes.
“Let me put it this way, we watched you on the show give your list of “icks”, shush [Claire], kind of ignore her, then when she goes and kisses somebody else, you get all manned-up and go, “Hey, hey, hey!” Where’s your responsibility?” He said.
Jesse rolled his eyes and replied: “David, David, David… You make me laugh, mate!”
“I’ve seen interviews you’ve done with Claire and Janelle [Han, Adam’s wife] calling me a “walking red flag” and scoffing and rolling your eyes when my name gets brought up,” he added.
Jesse continued, “Let me tell you about “the ick”. I’m glad you’ve given me the opportunity [to respond]. That was something that the show really exaggerated. I don’t care that Claire is into star signs or crystals. Good for her!”
“I’m not going to completely write her off as a person because she’s into something that I’m not.”
Jesse went on to explain himself for “shushing” Claire at the airport on their honeymoon.
“I wasn’t rude – I was actually pretty kind about it, just raising her awareness and saying, “We should use our inside voice.” And all of sudden I’m this fricken’ misogynist and shushing all women. It’s ridiculous, mate.”
