In exciting news for Francophiles across town, everything French festivalSo Frenchy So Chic In The Parkwill return for its third Sydney incarnation next January.

The day-long festival will feature music from Moroccan-born blues and folk artistHindi Zahra, 1970sdiva-esque duoBrigitte, singer-songwriterLou Doillonand the unconventional Balkan-electro-meets-light-punk outfitSoviet Suprem.

There’ll also be some excellent French cuisine and (naturally) lots of champagne, plus face-painting, puppet shows and more for the kids.

So Frenchy So Chic In The Park goes down on Saturday January 16 on the grounds of the University Of Sydney’s St John’s College.
