Following a viral mugshot, Jamies Sutton, (or ‘The Beast’) has been arrested during a raid in Leeton, NSW
Sutton, who was wanted for outstanding warrants quickly became internet famous after finding himself the centre of a curious manhunt.
To assist in finding Sutton, the police released his image to the public, suspecting that his arrest would come quickly due to his unique appearance.
Most notable, Sutton’s whole face is coloured in and is accompanied by the word ‘BEAST’ across his forehead.
Seemingly to avoid being recognised, Sutton changed his Facebook profile picture to hide the bottom half of his face, still leaving ‘BEAST’ visible.
“Cops won’t even recognise ya now bra,” commented a woman.
“Any distinguishing features so we can tell him apart from the average Joe?” wrote another.
“He’s with Beauty… castles in the area need to be searched. As I’m sure she’s hiding him.”
Sutton is no novice to the courts, with a series of incidents that trail back to 2014.
Back in 2014, Sutton was expected to face Deniliquin Local Court for three counts of driving with a disqualified licence and driving under the influence of drugs. He pleaded guilty but failed to show up for his sentencing and received a year-long suspension and a $900 fine.
In June 2022, Sutton was accused of common assault and assault occasioning actual bodily harm. On Tuesday 11th of October, he was convicted of common assault and property damage.
Another tattoo of note is ‘Sutto’s guilty’ written across his stomach. However, I’m unsure as to if that can act as definitive proof of his crimes.
The Beast is expected to face Griffith Local Court on Thursday, 13th of October.
