Many people are struggling during the coronavirus pandemic, but we’re not sure that leaving dog poop around with flags in it is the best way to reach out for help.
That’s exactly what’s happening in The Netherlands, according to Gay Paris and sleepmakeswaves guitarist Lachlan Marks.
Taking to Twitter overnight, Marks revealed that someone has been leaving dog poops around his street. Each poop contains a toothpick with a flag on the end, and as previously mentioned, the flag says simply: ‘not okay’.

Marks lives in a suburb called Haarlem near Amsterdam, and is also a screenwriter. When we reached out to him, he sent as a photo of the poop in question.
“I’ve only seen two so far but I would kill to meet the person doing it. So odd,” the Aussie told Tone Deaf.
“And what’s amazing is nobody picks it up cos it has a weird flag in it, so it’s almost like their flustered statement is being perpetually ignored.”
Someone suggested a cryptic response to the dog poop; “Label them all with “that’s a shit flag” and they’ll forever be condemned to ponder whether you were judging them or simply stating a fact…”

Looks like the poo jogger has officially been outdone, this is officially weirder and way more interesting!
While those in Europe must be frustrated with the ongoing pandemic, there’s better news in Australia, with pubs and gyms set to start reopening in certain states over the next few weeks.
