Sophie Cachia has said that she is “sick to death of people needing to be there” for her, in light of her split from her fiance Maddie Garrick.

The Survivor star went public with her relationship with Maddie Garrick in 2021 and got engaged in March of this year. Earlier this year, Maddie moved to Florence, Italy, for a work opportunity with Polisportiva A.Galli Basket and the two transitioned into a long distance relationship. However, Sophie announced their split on Instagram earlier this week.

Now, Sophie has shared how she feels about the sympathy she’s received over her recent break up.

“A lot of lessons, but mostly how blessed I am with such a supportive, close knit family & friend support system. I’m at a point in my life where I’m SICK TO DEATII of people needing to be there for me. “We’re here for you” they say, and I’m angry,” Cachia told her followers in an emotional Instagram story.

She continued, “Not for their want to help me, but for yet another reason I need them to. It’s humiliating. It’s embarrassing. I didn’t ask for this. I don’t want to be here. 2 weeks ago I was travelling the world, the happiest I’ve felt in my life for so many years. I was oblivious.

“I just want happiness and a content life. I want a life filled with love & family. I don’t want to fear love & commitment. I don’t want to not believe in anyone ever again or have trust issues. I don’t want to be petrified to let anyone near my children ever again. I want happiness.”
