Knuckles passed away just over a year ago, but his influence on house music lives on. He is widely regarded as having played an important role in the popularisation of house music during the 1980s. Knuckles also worked quite closely with a number of charities to improve the lives of thsoe living with AIDS.

Nothing is more fitting for a tribute to Frankie Knuckles than an afternoon of dancing.
