Last November, we reported on rumours that The Spice Girls had been in reunion talks for a possible TV special and a record, rumours which we really hoped were true.
Over the weekend we had our first official confirmation that the girls are actually planning something this year.
“The time now feels right to explore some incredible new opportunities together”, they wrote, in a joint statement.
“We all agree that there are many exciting possibilities that will once again embrace the original essence of The Spice Girls, while reinforcing our message of female empowerment for future generations.”
