Stiff Little Fingers have announced they will be heading to Australia for a run of shows this March and April.
Stiff Little Fingers were at the forefront of the punk movement. Forming in Belfast, Ireland in 1977, they started out writingabout their own lives growing up at the height of The Troubles in Northern Ireland.
In 1979 they became the first band ever to hit the UK Top 20 album charts on an independent label with their debutInflammable Material,calling on youth to create their own reality.
The band released three more albums before splitting in 1983. After reforming in 1987, they have released six more studio albums, playing with a consistently fluid lineup based around frontmanJake Burnsfor the nearly 30 years since.
