Sunrises’ Nelson Aspen is momentarily stepping away from the small screen for one night to bring you a show in which he’ll talk the talk, sing the songs and spill the beans.

Aspen has become a household(ish) name for his appearances on Sunrise, as the colorful show business editor for the past 12 years. Accompanies by piano, bass and drums, Aspen promises an intimate evening that switches between smooth songs and witty stand-up comedy.

Nelson Aspen presents The Songs. The Stars. The Scoops! at the Playhouse, Sydney Opera House on Sunday 17 May. Tickets are $70 and available from the venue’s website.
