Super Furry Festival 2017 returns for a fourth year of fun, with thousands of Sydneysiders — and their pets — hitting Shannon Reserve this Saturday for a day of treasure hunts, live music, market stalls, petting zones, and other such adorable things.

If you don’t have an animal of your own, your pet-owning status could well change by the end of the day, with numerous rescue shelters there hoping to re-home as many pets as possible – the likes of Porches Rescue, Sydney Dogs & Cats, RSPCA, Forgotten Souls, Cat Protection Society (not strictly known for canines) and Monika’s Doggie Rescue will have pets there for you to build a bond with.

There are also areas known as the Kitty Cuddle Tent and the Bunny Snuggle Tent, which seem dangerously cute.

The whole thing starts at 9am on Saturday October 14. Register for free here.
