‘Make or break’ is the theme of this year’s festival, presumably with an emphasis on the making rather than the breaking.

The bumper lineup for this year’s iteration of the Sydney Design Festival is sure to get both industry insiders and the general public at large excited. A plethora of Sydney venues are getting involved, and there are 100 seperate events all planned, ranging from a ‘virtual reality family challenge’ to a bamboo bike hack event.

It’s sure to be as illuminating as it is unexpected, so all those with an interest in the myriad of ways in which contemporary design effects our lives should head along.

The festival runs from Friday September 2 till Sunday September 11. For more information and a list of venues, head to the website, here.
