Adding to their already 180+ strong program of films, Sydney Film Festival has just announced the addition of three new films.

Two new documentaries alongisde one new feature film were announced this morning.Steve Jobs: The Man In The Machine and Among the Believers will join the documentary lineup, andThe Assassin is the latest feature to be added to the program.

A candid and revealing insight into Steve Jobs’ life, award winning documetariast Alex Gibney will be presenting his film to accompanyMr Dynamite: The Rise of James Brownalong with a Sydney Film Festival and Vivid IDEAS Talk, Alex Gibney: In Conversation.

Indian filmmaker Hemal Trivedi and Pakistani filmmaker Mohammed Ali Naqv worked onAmong the Believersfor several years. The result is an intimate and brutally clear insight into the power struggle between Muslim extremists and secular leaders in Pakistan.

The Assassincomes directly from Cannes Film Festival, where director Hou Hsiao-Hsian the Best Director Award. Based on the life of NieYinniang, a young girl abducted by a nun and transformed into an exceptional assassin.

Steve Jobs:The Man In The Machine will screen on Friday June 5 & Friday June 12 at Event Cinemas on George Street.Among the Believers will screen on Saturday June 13 & Sunday June 14 at Event Cinemas on George Street.The Assassin will screen on Saturday June 13 & Sunday June 14 at Event Cinemas on George Street.
