Bottoms up Sydney! Merivale is in serious celebration mode with the return of 49% off ALL drinks this June.

Yes, you read correctly, you get almost half-off all cocktails, wine, spirits, beer and Champagne (so, everything) at Merivale’s bars and pubs, which are essentially everywhere across the city and its surrounds.

The offer is for all of June, because Merivale can’t go past a month-long celebration, and available every day between 5 pm and 7 pm.

If you’re not sure exactly which bars and pubs to go to, there’s a chance one of them is already your local.

We read the fine print on the month-long celebration so that you don’t have to, and it’s all looking good for all drinks up to the value of $200. So if that $300 bottle of Cloudburst‘s cabernet sauvignon is your got-to then expect to pay RRP – but we have a sneaking suspicion you can afford it just fine anyway.

Merivale would discount the offer even further if they could, but according to NSW state law, 49% the maximum amount any business can legally discount alcohol.

Inspired by the sentiment ‘Just Because…’, it’s not the first time Merivale have adopted the ‘any excuse will do’ mantra. The 49% off deal turned happy hour into a super happy two hours last June; but the regular gift for Merivale punters is part of the hospitality group’s ethos around community-driven offers.

Coinciding with the 49% campaign, Merivale also announced the return of See Sound, a season-long series of free live music events featuring big-name acts, hotly-tipped local bands and some of our fave local DJs.

On top of that, Merivale is currently running a competition to win a seaplane experience to Bert’s Bar & Brasserie for one lucky winner and seven of their mates. Enter here for the ultimate seaplane and dining experience, and you’ll also be in the draw for one of 49 (coincidence? We think not) $100 Merivale gift cards.

Justin Hemmes, CEO of Merivale, has said these offers are his “small way of saying thank you to Sydney”. To that we say, No, thank you.
