It turns out that running away to join the circus isn’t as crazy as it sounds.
Established in the regional city of Albury in 1979,Australia’s national youth circus, the Flying Fruit Fly Circus is the country’s only full-time circus school.Sydney Opera House and theFlying Fruit Fly Circus have announced a three-year partnership that will deliver performance and training opportunities for young circus performers aged eight to 18 across the country.
The Fruit Flies will be transforming the Opera House into a Big Top with the return of their smash hit performanceCircus Under My Bed. Due to its box-office success during Summer at the House in 2014, the show has gone on to tour Australia and will tour Turkey later this year.
Circus Under My Bedwill be running from Thursday July 2 to Sunday July 12 at the Sydney Opera House.
