Gird your loins, things are about to get shit-hot! Taco Bell have announced they will open a restaurant on the Gold Coast later this year. It’s the second Australian outlet coming after the fast food giant launched in Brisbane last year.

Details are minimal currently, but the brand says you can expect to see a big purple bell popping up in Robina later this year. Last month it was announced that Sizzler would be rebranded as Taco Bells across Australia. This new location is the first of many that have been promised.

Taco Bell
An example of Taco Bell’s various taco options.

When the Tex-Mex chain first launched on our shores, people were camped out overnight to be the first to try the iconic menu. The food is mainly similar to the American menu, but we are yet to get the breakfast options.

Hopefully when more venues open we will get the full menu, because I personally believe breakfast tacos are the peak of human ideas. Until then, I suggest purchasing extra and keeping them for the morning. That is being smart and definitely not a sign that your life is a mess.

Taco Bell Robina opens around Robina town centre later this year. We’ll keep you updated with all the info as it comes!
