Love Island star Tak Chipangura has shared an emotional post in light of his unlucky-in-love stint on the reality dating show.
Tak was one of the season’s first bombshells, and he entered alongside self-proclaimed fuck boy, Callum Hole.
Throughout the season, Tak explored romances with Stella, Maddy, Takoo and Jess on the show, however, he was repeatedly friend zoned by the women.
Despite not finding love on the show, Tak was a fan favourite and was constantly praised on social media for his ability to be vulnerable.
Now, Tak has reflected on his time on the series and revealed that there were times when he wanted to leave the villa.
“Just wanted to come out here and say I appreciate all the love you guys show me post my love island experience. I’m not one for drama or problems so I won’t be speaking any more about the show,” he began the post.
He continued, “It wasn’t the greatest experience for me and there were plenty of times where I just wanted to walk away from the entire thing but the producers would reassure me I was doing a good job.

“There were countless times where I would question myself and my worth in the villa and countless moments where I would sit by myself and feel down. I spent a lot of time in the beach huts and my confidence was definitely shot when my experience came to an end.
Tak concluded, “I remained genuine to myself and I’ll stay genuine to who I am post the villa. It’s all love from me and I pray you all have a blessed year.”
Shortly after being dumped from the villa, Tak slammed some of the boys who are still in the villa, calling them “childish”.
The reality star praised fellow cast-mate Jordan but named Mitch, Callum, and Austen and said they formed a “boys club” early on.
“We sort of noticed it in the first couple of days, really,” he told So Dramatic!. “Mitch, Callum, and Austen made this little boys group of which was just the three of them. [They were] very childish at times,” Tak revealed.
He added: “Jordan and I were like, ‘we’ll just sit back’. I think [we] were a little bit more on the more mature side. We didn’t really want to be a part of it. We didn’t really mind.”
