Poor Jacob Black, he just can’t catch a break. No matter what he does, it seems Edward Cullen will follow him wherever he goes… even into matrimonial life.
Taylor Lautner’s fiancée, Taylor Dome, recently revealed who her childhood crush was on Tiktok, and well, let’s just Jacob Black lost that battle to a certain pale, ice-cold vampire. Dome’s childhood crush was none other than Lautner’s former co-star and now-Batman, Robert Pattinson.
Dome revealed her former Team Edward status by hopping onto the Tiktok trend where people show their childhood crushes and then the person they actually ended up with. Dome supplemented the Tiktok with pictures of her and Lautner’s developing relationship, proving that – for once – Jacob had the last laugh.
“I think it’s time to come clean … ” she captioned the Tiktok.
Not one to be outdone – and having earned the right to gloat – Lautner commented on her Tiktok: “Bout time I won something.”
Lautner and Dome publicly revealed their relationship in 2018 and got engaged in 2021. The two met while the actor was reportedly on a break from acting, having stepped away from the limelight after a prolonged stint making movies.

“I wanted to take a step back and enjoy life and spend some time with my family and friends,” Lautner told PEOPLE magazine earlier this year, adding: “And I met my fiancée out of it, so it all worked out.”
“My sister Makena actually introduced us,” he recalled. “She called me and said, ‘Dude, I found your future wife. You need to meet this girl.’ And the rest is history.”
