The Temper Trap have been busy doing work-related things of late, like recording albums, and touring the world, which has really hampered their ability to play Sydney gigs.

The band are making up for this by announcing a run of Australian shows this November, including a show at the Metro Theatre on November 22.

“We’re pumped to be coming back to Australia to play a couple of shows this spring,” singer Dougy Mandagi typed out dutifully in a press release.

“We always love coming home and we can’t wait to see our fans again! We’re looking forward to Australia hearing some new sounds from us as well.”

New sounds? We predict a hardcore EDM set, punctuated by lengthy saxophone solos. What else could he mean?

Frontier pre-sale begins next Monday, 21st August, with general public tickets available from 10am on Thursday August 24. It’s an 18 plus show too, so don’t bring any toddlers.
