He’s now being charged with one count of communication with a minor for immoral purposes.The current legal suit connects to a civil suit that Massey was involved in back in March 2019, where he was sued $1.5 million for allegedly sending “numerous sexually explicit text messages, images, and videos” to a 13 year old girl through Snapchat.Massey had been connected to the girl as he had promised that he would her find an agent looking for acting work.
The two allegedly met back at Universal City in 2009 and they shared a relationship but he deems to have played a “father figure” type.In his defence, he claimed that he was being extorted, denying all of the allegations. With his lawyer issuing a statement on Massey’s behalf, “No child should ever be exposed to sexually explicit materials and I unequivocally and categorically deny any alleged misconduct.”Apparently the civil suit the accuser’s legal team initially opted for came to a halt as her lawyers warned her that Massey didn’t have enough money to his name to make it worth it, resulting in reporting the offence against Massey to the Sheriff’s Office.
As per TMZ, Kyle Massey was scheduled to appear at a King County Criminal Court in Washington on Monday, however he did not show. Other than that, there have no other updates from the case.
