Organisers of the Sydney Film Festival have announced that they will introduce a new Youth Pass for young film fanatics.

The pass allows those who are between 18 and 24 to grab a bundle of six tickets to the 2017 festival for the discounted price of $72. Those who are under 18 will be able to get tickets for $13 each.

Six family-friendly films will be on the lineup for the festival’s weekend daytime sessions. From child to teen and in between, there will be a little something for everyone. Beyond the family-friendly program, young people will also have the chance to check out many of the festival’s other films and events. Since last year, 50 per cent of the overall program is available to everyone over the age of 15.

Now in its 64th year, the Sydney Film Festival’s 2017 season will run between June 7 and 18. The full 2017 film guide can be found here.
