As always, there’s a stack of content coming to Netflix in March. The majority of it will hit screens on the first of the month, with a handful of other shows and movies premiering in the following weeks. Here’s our 5 picks of the best things hitting Netflix in March.

Spirited Away (2001)

Probably the best-known film produced by Japanese animation powerhouse, Studio Ghibli, Spirited Away has been a hit with adults and kids alike since it was first released. It’s a major gain for Netflix, and essential viewing even for non-anime fans. It’ll be on Netflix from March 1st.

The Hateful Eight (2015)

Hot on the heels of Once Upon A Time…in Hollywood, Tarantino fans have even more to cheer about with the release of The Hateful Eight onto Netflix. The slow-burn Western was the acclaimed filmmaker’s eighth film, and it’ll be his first to get to Australian Netflix when it pops up on March 1st.

Paradise PD, Season 2

This irreverent animated cop show has proven a hit with audiences since it debuted in 2018. So much so, that Netflix commissioned a second series just two months after the first premiered. Paradise PD has proven that Netflix can hold its own in the booming business of the animated sitcom. You can watch the second series in its entirety from March 6th.

The Post (2017)

Two of the all-time greats, Tom Hanks and Meryl Streep, star in this hard-hitting drama about two journalists at The Washington Post. Streep was nominated for an Oscar for her work on the film, and it remains one of her best-loved performances from the past few years. It’s on Netflix from March 25th.

The Big Sick (2017)

If you’re into rom-coms, you won’t want to miss this one. It’s rare for a rom-com to earn a nomination for Best Original Screenplay at The Oscars, but The Big Sick did just that. You can watch the hilarious tale of culture clash and mystery illness from March 1st.
