‘The Bachelor’ executive producer has gone on the record to ask Australia what they think of Schapelle Corby as the next Bachelorette.

The surprising revleation come about when a channel 10 EP named Ed on the Nova’s Fitzy and Wippa show this morning. When Ed revealed that there was no lead for The Bachelorette confirmed yet, Fitzy nominated Schapelle.

“Schapelle Corby has broken up with Ben over in Bali and looking for love. Now there have been a lot of people suggesting wouldn‘t it be great if Channel 10 could find Schapelle Corby Love?” he proposed.

“I agree … I think a lot of people would tune in,” Ed responded, before adding: “Do you think she’d be good on the dates?”

“And the final decision, her down to two guys, the final decision is in Kuta,” he said of Bali, the island that Corby was arrested on for smuggling marijuana in a bodyboard bag in 2004.

Speaking of considering Schapelle for The Bachelorette, Ed said: “We’ll absolutely put that to Channel 10.”

Corby, who was released from Kerobokan prison in 2014 after serving nine years, announced her split from her boyfriend Ben Panangian on Saturday, after 16 years together.
