Apparently, Channel 10 told some members of The Bachelor cast to ‘keep away’ from the MAFS cast at all costs.

Apparently, Channel 10 has no patience with members of The Bachelor fraternising with the enemy – or, the ‘embarrassing’ MAFS cast.

After pictures showed The Bachelor contestant Jed McIntosh hanging out with multiple MAFS stars at the Team Ellis boxing event and after, Channel 10 wasted no time in warning contestants that they needed to stay away from the MAFS cast if they wanted the contracted amount and the promised blue-tick.

A source who spoke to the Daily Mail said: “An email went out to the cast, including the leading men, to stay away from the stars of MAFS. It said they were embarrassing, and if we wanted our [Instagram] blue ticks and $5,000 bonus, we had to stay away from any events or other reality stars.”

But get this: not all contestants got said email.

According to a source who spoke to So Dramatic!, only a few ‘rogue girls’ were on the recipient list. “Nope, I didn’t get one. I know a few ‘rogue’ girls have been to events and hung out with MAFS cast… [the email] may have only been to them.”

Traditionally, contestants of reality shows are contractually required to avoid those from competing shows or other public events without the presiding network’s approval. In the case of The Bachelor this time, contestants stand to win $5,000 AUD as a bonus.

In addition, if their time on the show is successful, Channel 10 has also promised to submit their Instagram accounts for verification – but only as long as they avoid the cast of MAFS, as it turns out.
