A spicy new trailer has been dropped for the new upcoming season of The Bachelor Australia, and it’s packed with bombshells – including a contestant telling one of The Bachelors that she’s in an open relationship.

The clip opens up with Felix revealing that he’s never been in love before. The camera then pans to the other two Bachelors, showing Thomas as the sophisticated wine-drinking lead, and Jed as the bad-boy band guy lead.

After that, we see a bunch of roses being handed out, and Jed telling one of the women that he “rekons she’s perfect”. However, a spanner gets thrown into the works when that woman tells Jed, “Unfortunately I’m not going to accept the rose.” The musician then storms off and says, “I thought I was the one making those decisions, but apparently not.”

Later in the clip, a woman at a rose ceremony tells Felix that she’s something she’d like to say to him, and to Felix telling the camera; “She’s seeing someone at the moment, in an open relationship.”

Earlier this week, The Bachelor Australia announced a premiere date for the third time, and if all goes to plan we should be watching the three leads hand out red roses on  January 9, 2023.

It was originally announced that the dating show would start in October 2022. At the Channel 10 Upfronts last month, the premiere date was pushed back to January 2, 2023. Now, the franchise has announced The Bachelor Australia will air on January 9, 2023.

It has been confirmed that the upcoming season will have three leads; Jed McIntosh, Felix Von Hofe and Thomas Malucelli.
