Alesia and Jed are the only couple that are still together from last night’s finale on The Bachelors, but it seems as though their relationship isn’t traditional.
Despite revealing that they are an item, Alesia revealed that she’s “kissed a few (other) people” since filming wrapped six months ago.
“But (Jed has) known straight up that I have,” she added.
“That’s OK, given the context, I think we’ve done quite well if that’s all it is, to be honest,” Jed replied.
He continued, “There was no malice at all.”
Alesia explained that while her and Jed didn’t technically break up, they did take a break-of-sorts from their relationship once filming finished.
“We were on the show for seven weeks, and then from the rendezvous, we were like, ‘OK, let’s be together, let’s make this official’,” Alesia said.

“Then there was stuff going on between then, Jed had some things going on, so we just said, ‘let’s take a step back until we have the opportunity to be together properly.”
In a seperate interview, Alesia has told New Idea Magazine that an engagement isn’t on the cards for her and Jed at the moment.
“Definitely nowhere near engagement… I wasn’t ready six months ago, after seven weeks. And this is obviously the second time I’ve seen him within the six months, you know, post filming. So, I feel like we’re starting from scratch. But so far, so good,” she said.
Elsewhere in the interview, Jed confirmed that he and Alesia are “seeing each other at this stage”.
When asked why they think they managed to stay together, despite the long distance and lack of physical time together after filming wrapped, both reality stars cited their open and frequent communication.
“I think 100 percent, like it just sounds so corny, but communication is so key. And also just having such a huge amount of respect for one another, just to be so supportive of each other through this whole time,” Alesia said.
