Fans are eager to see Supernatural’s Jensen Ackles make his debut as a sinister take on Captain America called Soldier Boy. In the comics, Soldier Boy is the “original supe”, having his own team of heroes that fought with him in the 1900’s.

“We dove headfirst into baking in an all-American quality grounded in a military soldier’s practicality with a heavy dose of old school cowboy swagger” says Costume designer Laura Jean Shannon. “We knew that the actor had to have Steve McQueen looks and chops with a John Wayne attitude, luckily Jensen Ackles embodies all of that.”

An animated spin-off called The Boys Presents: Diabolical recently premiered on Amazon Prime. The anthology follows a different story each episode with its own unique style of animation. The series brings back the voices of fan favourites, while also featuring Simon Pegg, Michael Cera, Ben Schwartz and a long list of other fantastic actors.
