It’s been almost a year since we first learnt of Jim Jarmusch’s latest project, a star-studded zombie flick, The Dead Don’t Die. Now, we finally have a trailer. The film stars Iggy Pop, Bill Murray, Tom Waits, RZA, Adam Driver, Tilda Swinton, Steve Buscemi and more. Watch it below.

Watch: The Dead Don’t Die – Official Trailer

The Dead Don’t Die hits cinemas in the US on June 14. We’re not sure when it will arrive in Australia, but its smack bang in the middle of Sydney Film Festival so we’re feeling very hopeful.

This will be Jarmusch’s second film about the undead, following 2013’s Swinton-led vampire flick Only Lovers Left Alive – which was nominated for a Palme d’Or.

Jarmusch’s last film was 2016’s gorgeous Paterson, read a segment from our review below:

“Paterson won’t be for everyone, and is not the kind of film that will have the audience on its feet cheering by its conclusion. But it is a feel-good film in the truest sense of the phrase; a film full of pure, simple kindness, and one that gives off a warmth so genuine that it shimmers.”

Iggy Pop is set to grace Australian shores next month for Bluesfest Festival. He will also be playing headline shows in support of his appearance. Tour dates and ticket information below.
