The Real Love Boat Australia has only just set sail on our screens, but it looks like two of the show’s stars – and one dad – may have already spoiled the ending.

The new Channel 10 series sends a cruise ship of eligible Aussie singles sailing through the Mediterranean in search of true love… and it seems one couple may have found it.

Jay Bonnell and Sally Geach made a connection from the first episode, and it appears it may still be smooth sailing for the pair.

Eagle-eyed fans were quick to report some social media clues to the couple’s current status to gossip site So Dramatic! after both were spied posting from the same location.

“Quick trip,” Bonnell captioned his post from Club Med resort in Bali.

Meanwhile, just two days later Geach revealed she had also been at Club Med in Bali with her family.

“Had the absolute best time in Bali celebrating my sisters wedding and sipping on my favourite, pina colda’s all week long!” she captioned her post.

Bonnell’s father added further fuel to the speculation fire by commenting on the mum-of-one’s post.

“You would make a beautiful daughter in-law,” he wrote. “Just saying.”

The Real Love Boat stars some familiar faces, including Celebrity Apprentice runner-up Darren McMullen as host, and Below Deck fan favourite Hannah Ferrier as the cruise director.

According to the show’s description, “destination dates, challenges and surprise singles will test the couples’ compatibility and chemistry. Like the beloved original scripted series, the indispensable crew members including ‘captain’ and ‘cruise director’ will play pivotal roles in the matchmaking and navigation of the romantic (and sometimes turbulent) waters ahead.”

The show that promises both love sickness and sea sickness for its contestants hasn’t done so well in its opening ratings, according to TV Blackbox.

The show’s Thursday figures are “diabolical” according to the website – something that should have the network concerned since they’ve already announced a second season to follow next year.
