The newest movie from Kitty Green, The Royal Hotel, which will be starring Jessica Henwick and Hugo Weaving, is set to film in Australia.

The Royal Hotel, the newest film from Kitty Green, now has Jessica Henwick joining to star alongside Julia Garner and Hugo Weaving. Henwick is known as a burgeoning action star for her roles in Iron FistThe Matrix: Resurrections, and Game of Thrones.

Across the course of those three projects, Henwick has been able to sharpen her skills with the whip, while helping lead the charge of the Dornish Sand Snakes against King’s Landing; the sword, where she used the sword to fight the criminal organization The Hand; and martial arts, which she used to helo liberate Neo and Trinity from the new Matrix.

Henwick was also the first actress of East Asian descent to play the lead role in a British television series in Spirit Warriors.  During her time on the show, she trained in Wushu, another notch in her belt that furthered her skills in martial arts.

The Royal Hotel will also star Hugo Weaving as a bar owner and Julia Garner who is best friends with Henwick’s character. The movie will be shot in the Australian outback and seems to have a sinister thriller side on the back end of the film.

The movie is said to address Australia’s drinking culture and the dangers it can pose when unchecked. For the movie’s full synopsis look below.
