If you’ve ever had dreams of LARPing like Tony Montana for an evening, I’ve got news for you. The Star Casino is offering $1 hotel rooms to celebrate the reopening of the Victoria/NSW border.
The offer is available exclusively to Victorians — who truly deserve it after the hard yards they put in during that tough lockdown period.
Scoring a hotel room is all a game of skill, at 5 pm today (Monday, November 23rd) The Star will reveal a number. The first 100 people to call that number will be offered the chance to book a hotel stay in one of The Star’s Superior King Rooms at The Star Grand Hotel.
Just so you know what a wild deal this is, a hotel room like that at the Star Casino would traditionally set you back around $220. Yeah.
You’ll be able to book your stay in between the period of November 23rd and December 30th. So if any of you Victorians were umming and ahhing as to whether you were going to make the trip to Sydney to see your family this Christmas period, take this as a sign.

- $1 rooms available to the first 100 callers
- Limit one $1 room per caller, per reservation
- Stay dates: 23 November to 30 December 2020
- Available Sunday to Friday
- All bookings are subject to availability and Blackout dates apply
- Available at The Star Grand Sydney only
- Customers can book additional nights at the best available rates
- Bookings are non-transferrable
- Package cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotion or offer
- No further discounts, including The Star Club discounts, apply
- Non-refundable and non-changeable
- Bedding preference (king or twin) is not guaranteed
- For the comfort of other guests, The Star Sydney has a strict ‘no party’ policy. Any loud or disruptive behaviour will result in eviction.
- No BYO alcohol. Guests found to be in breach of this policy risk eviction from The Star.
- A $100 per night bond is required at check-in
