The one-day heavy hitter will feature sets from Waax and Stone Lions, plus Aaron Gocs as MC.

Thrashville festival has added Brisbane band and triple j faves Waax to its lineup, promising to bring their hard and heavy energy that has garnered much attention from the music industry.

Also newly scheduled on the first-time festival bill are Stone Lions – a pop-punky trio hailing from the Central Coast who have just dropped their debut EPNecking Off And Kicking On Pt 1.

Aaron Gocs has also been announced as the festival MC; the viral YouTube star is known for his dry observational humour and has recently been added to the comedy show Wham Bam Thank You Ma’am on the ABC.

Gocs, Waax and Stone Lions will be joining an impressive lineup featuring Cosmic Psychos, Hard-Ons, Clowns and Glitoris.

Coming from the creators of Dashville Skyline, The Gum Ball and PigSty In July, Thrashville is the new (slightly heavier) kid in town.

Thrashville will take place in Belford, Hunter Valley on Saturday January 21.
