Spare by Prince Harry has dominated the headlines today since news broke that a copy of the book had leaked in Spain.
The controversial memoir was scheduled to be released on Tuesday next week, and the leaked copy has had the estranged Prince rushing to meet promotional obligations days before they were originally planned to take place.
And, extracts from the leaked book are anything to go by, it looks as though Spare by Prince Harry could well be the most explosive memoir in a long time.
Below are three x-rated confessions from the Duke of Sussex’s new book.
1. He refuted stories that claim he and his brother aren’t circumcised
It’s long been speculated that Princess Diana didn’t want her sons William and Harry circumcised. A journalist who was circumcised by the same doctor who did Prince Charles’ wrote in The Telegraph that Princess Di forbid her children’s circumcision because “it was deemed both medically unnecessary as well as having more risks than potential benefits”.
However, Prince Harry refuted the statement and confirmed that he is, indeed, circumcised.

“There were countless stories in books, and papers (even The New York Times) about Willy and me not being circumcised.
“Mummy had forbidden it, they all said, and while it’s absolutely true that the chance of getting penile frostbite is much greater if you’re not circumcised, all the stories were false. I was snipped as a baby.”
2. He suffered frostbite on his penis after a trip to Antarctica
In 2013, Prince Harry took part in a 200-mile Arctic charity walk that saw him experience serious frost bite. The prince writes in the book that he opened up about his frost bite to his father at Prince William’s pre-wedding dinner.
“The pre-wedding dinner was pleasant, jolly, despite Willy visibly suffering from standard groom jitters,” he says.
“I regaled the company with tales of the (South) Pole. Pa was very interested and sympathetic about the discomfort of my frost nipped ears and cheeks, and it was an effort not to overshare and tell him also about my equally tender penis.
“Upon arriving home I’d been horrified to discover that my nether regions were frost nipped as well, and while the ears and cheeks were already healing, the todger wasn’t.”
However, Prince Harry was told “Time heals,” by a professional. And, it appears it did, as Harry and his wife Meghan Markle in 2019 and 2021.
“She liked horses, quite a lot, and treated me not unlike a young stallion,” he writes in the book of the woman he lost his virginity to. “Quick ride, after which she’d smacked my rump and sent me to grace.”
Harry appears to look back at his ‘deflowering’ as a negative thing.
“Among the many things about it that were wrong. It happened in a grassy field behind a busy pub,” he said.
