At the conclusion of Netflix original series Tiger King there were some losers, some winners, and even more losers. Coming out the other side of the doco in first place is undoubtedly Carole Baskin, who is now making an absolute killing on shoutout app Cameo.

As The Sun reports, Baskin is charging fans $199 for a 30-second video and people are lapping it up. She apparently earned $28,000 AUD in a single day on the site.

In a surprise to nobody, Baskin greets all visitors to the site with her intro “help all you cool cats and kittens.

“I’m happy to record any kind of greeting for a birthday or anniversary or any kind of encouraging message to the animal lover in your life,” she continues.

Her bio reads: “You know me as ‘Tiger King’ Joe Exotic’s intended murder victim but my real life’s work has been at Big Cat Rescue for a world where all wild cats live free. Please be a voice for cats: BigCatAct.com.”

Baskin also has a five-star rating on her profile on the site.

The owner of Big Cat Rescue featured in Tiger King as the nemesis of titular protagonist Joe Exotic, who claimed that she killed her former husband despite only vague, circumstantial evidence pointing to that fact.

Exotic remains in jail since the series concluded, and recently it was revealed that Carole Baskin has taken over Exotic’s old zoo, which featured in the documentary. The GW Exotic Zoo in Wynnewood, Oklahoma, had been run by Jeff Lowe since Exotic went to prison.

A ruling by a federal judge ordered that Lowe has 120 days to vacate the land and remove all of the animals.

Exotic – real name Joseph Maldonado-Passage – is currently serving a 22-year prison sentence for attempting to hire a hitman to kill Baskin.
