Sydney band Tigertown have today released what we are gonna just declare is their finest single to date, the glistening ‘Warriors’.

A big, bright ’80s-leaning pop song — this song sits somewhere in a huddle with Naked and Famous, M83, The Sleepy Jackson, early Kylie, Cyndi Lauper caught in a wind tunnel, and the soundtrack to Wipeout 2097 on Playstation —  it will hopefully help them grab the large audience they deserve.

Billboard in the U.S. premiered this track a few hours ago, which is a great boost. This single will also go down a treat when they support Tove Lo in Sydney and Melbourne later this month. (Both those shows have sold out, sorry – if you want details about those shows, you’re going to have to go elsewhere to find it, I’m sorry to report. That’s not the point of this article.)
