Kiwi experimental musician Tiki Taane is jumping back across the Tasman for an Australian tour in support of his latest single No Place Like Home.

Taane dropped No Place Like Home in February. The song shows appreciation for New Zealand’s Bay of Plenty region, and it was actually released on Waitangi Day; a symbolic move. The track features a bunch of friends including hip hop soul artist Ria Hall. All funds from single downloads have been donated to the non-profit Tauranga charity, Good Neighbour.

A favourite with Australian audiences over the years, Taane’s October visit will be his biggest Australian jaunt as a solo musician (he’s also toured with his former band Salmonella Dub).

See Tiki Taane at Oxford Art Factory on Friday October 14.
