Restaurants have secret menus. Tiktok, apparently, has secret emojis. Here is a crash course on how to use them.
Restaurants have secret menus. Tiktok, apparently, has secret emojis – so, yeah, not only have you been missing out on the Tiktok life, you’ve also been missing out on using this cool insider trick.
While people always claim to have unlocked secret features on popular apps, this particular trick does appear to be true – Tiktok has 46 secret emojis built into the app. While 23 of those provide a wider range of expressions – everything from ‘wronged’ (sad eyes with two fingers pointing at each other) to ‘greedy’ (with dollar signs for eyes) – the others use a fun dumpling-style face.
You may not find them on the usual emoji list, but you also don’t have to be a coding whiz to access and use them. All you need is the emoji short-code.
As long as you have access to the short-code, you can simply copy and paste it into the caption or a comment. The short-code section will automatically change to the emoji.
If you don’t know what the short-code is, don’t worry! As long as you know what the emoji is called, all you need to do is simply put the name of the emoji in square brackets. If you need the happy emoji, for example, simply write: [happy] in your comments or caption.
