A new touring exhibition will host a massive collection of Spice Girls costumes, memorabilia, and more. NME reports SPICEUP is described as “the biggest touring exhibition of Spice Girls memorabilia in the world.” and it opens in London next week.

With consistent rumours of a possible reunion always being about but never coming true, it’s nice to have some exciting news confirmed around the group. The exhibition is scheduled to spend three weeks in London before heading to Manchester.

The official exhibition site promises “hundreds of iconic costume pieces from the Spice Girls heyday as well as many thousands of items of merchandise and memorabilia”. There’s going to be activities, dance classes and a Spice Girls bus tour of London.

Oh and did we mention that for the very first time, fans will be able to get a look inside the iconic Spice Bus from Spice World? We’re not entirely sure if it is going to be as spacious as it looked in the movie though…

The 90’s girl power icons originally got together in 1994 and released three albums as well as a movie before disbanding in 2000. They last reunited to perform in 2012 at the London Olympics opening ceremony. They also all got together to hang out in February which was cute, but nothing really came of it.

The exhibition has not currently scheduled any international stops, but we can hope that they’ll bring it to Australia. Until then, let’s just listen to the best song that features an inexplicable harmonica solo.
