Ever since Tracy Grimshaw announced her resignation from the A Current Affair in September, speculation has been rife about who will be her replacement in the iconic role.
Now, it appears as though Kyle Sandilands may have just leaked that Ally Langdon will be taking over the reins on the popular Channel Nine news show.
Grimshaw appears on the Kyle and Jackie O show this morning to discuss her time in the role, and Kyle unsurprisingly asked her who would be the newcomer to the show.
“Do you know how you’re passing the baton too?” He asked, and when Grimshaw confirmed that she did, Kyle asked her for a hint.
“I can’t possibly give you a hint but you’ll know very soon,” she replied.
Kyle responded by saying that he thinks he already knows who Grimshaw’s replacement will be.
“I feel, I know because I’ve been speaking to Stefanovic about who he’s gonna put on as his, the replacement cohost,” he revealed.

While it’s been speculated that Langdon will take the role, she hasn’t announced her departure from the Today show which she hosts with Karl Stefanovic.
Kyle’s temporary co-host Brittany Hockley chimed, in: “I think it’s Ally Langdon, I’m going to make the call.”
The shock jock spilled the beans and said that Langdon will take Grimshaw’s spot. “Let me just tell everyone, it is Ally Langdon. I don’t mean to bust channel 9’s bubble but when Karl,” he said.
While Grimshaw didn’t confirm the news, she didn’t dispute it either. “So you can confirm that it is Ally?” Kyle asked.
“I can confirm nothing,” she laughed.
Channel Nine hasn’t officially confirmed Grimshaw’s replacement yet, however, there has been a lot of speculation that Langdon will take her place. The rumour picked up traction when Langdon mysteriously went missing from Today for six days in a row earlier this month.
