They are celebrating 40 years on air with a huge festival packed with some of the biggest names in Australian music.

True to form, the bands announced have been on high rotation on triple j all year, including Gotye, Daniel Johns (Silverchair), Megan Washington, Bernard Fanning (Powderfinger) and Illy. Also announced were DZ Deathrays, Thundamentals, Seth Sentry, Tom Iansek (Big Scary/#1 Dads), Horrorshow, Hermitude, Drapht, Dave Faulkner, Briggs with Trials, Paul Dempsey, Joelistics, Mark McEntee (Divinyls) and Sarah Blasko.

Acts already revealed include Hilltop Hoods, The Presets, The Cat Empire, You Am I, Vance Joy, Ball Park Music, The Preatures, Nina Las Vegas and KLP. Special guests are Adalita, Tkay Maidza, Owl Eyes, Courtney Barnett, Remi and Alister Wright & Heidi Lenffer (Cloud Control). There’s still more to be announced.
