Actor Gregory Tyree Boyce and his 27-year-old girlfriend Natalie Adepoju were found dead in their Las Vegas condo last week.
As Variety report, the pair were found on May 13th. An official cause of death for the individuals is yet to be released, pending a toxicology report. The bodies of Boyce and Adepoju were found by Boyce’s cousin.
Greg’s cousin woke up and noticed that Greg’s car was still at the house. He was worried because Greg was to be in LA. His cousin went to check on him and found them,” a source told E! news.
Boyce is survived by his ten-year-old daughter, Alaya, and Adepoju’s young son, Egypt.
The actor was best known for the portrayal of Tyler Crowley in Catherine Hardwicke’s 2008 film Twilight. In addition to his role in the franchise, Boyce played a Cowboy in the 2018 short film Apocalypse.
A Facebook post made by Boyce’s mother, Lisa Wayne, revealed that at the close of his life Boyce was aspiring to open a restaurant.
“He was in the process of starting a wing business, West Wings,” Lisa wrote. “He created the flavors to his perfection and named them after west coast rappers. Snoop Dog, Kendrick Lamar, Roddy Ricch, The Game, etc,” Wayne wrote. “He had flavors like, Tequila Lime Agave…those were my favorite. Hennessy Maple flavor, oh man, just so damn good.
“I can say that my son was my favorite chef. He was on to something great and that was his passion.”
The actor celebrated his 30th birthday in December. In an Instagram post, he shared: “At one point I didn’t think I would make it to see 30 years old. Over the years like everyone else I have made mistakes along the way, but today is one of those days I only reflect on the great ones. What a time to be alive.”
A GoFundMe has been set up to help raise funds for the family of Adepoju. “Natalie had so much life to live we are saddened that her life was cut short,” a description for the fundraiser reads. “Natalie leaves behind her one and only baby boy Egypt, her father, 2 brothers and 1 sister, and a host of family and friends who love her dearly. Any amount would help send our baby home the proper way.”
